Federal Criminal Report Certain offences are violations of Federal law as opposed to state or local law and are recorded in a US District Federal Courts. US District Courts are divided by geographical region with each state. Federal violations for the most part will not appear in statewide or county records. California Criminal Index - 15 Counties This report is a name index of criminal case records containing Felony and Misdemeanor cases going back at least 7 years with the exception of San Bernardino going back 6 years.
